What is C Class IP?

Each of the device that connects to the internet must have an ip address. No matter it’s a computer or a data enabled cell phone or a server that hosts websites, they all have ip address somewhat typically like this

“84.47.163.88”

The above numbers are separated by dots (.) as you can see, there are 4 sets of number,  Each sets represent a class, let’s say, the first set is called “Class A”, then the 2nd is “Class B”, following 3rd “Class C” and the last is “Class D”. Total somewhat like this”

“A.B.C.D”

Now, generally when we host our websites in server and the server which is located in data centers are often hosted with the same “Class C” ips. These Ips are general similar ips, somewhat like,

“84.47.163.89”
“84.47.163.69”

Now the search engines understand these and can easily identify when allied sites cross link to each other from hosted on same Class C Ip address. The ranking algorithms can easily filtered out these links. Again if the site has many of these types of links, it can easily bring some drawback to the site.
Here comes the term or the innovative tricks of SEO hosting. These hosting is all about different, unique Class C ips. Here you will get unique Class C Ips to host your site. For say,

“84.47.163.89”
“84.47.164.54”
“84.47.168.90”
“84.47.167.69”

These gives you the opportunities to hide your sites networks, blog farms or cross linking network.
